On Sunday 11th of March 2018, the Saigon Raiders played Fighting Cocks (x2). A decent team holding the 2nd place in the league.

The first half immediately showed that the win wouldn’t come easy. Even though the Raiders put a lot of pressure on FC (2x), the opponent managed to keep the zero for a long time.

A great chance opened up for The Raven, who screwed up so badly that he transformed from a Raven into a bloody Turkey, despite an abundance of Turkey moments of fellow Raiders, such as Hoggy (karate-retard kick and British), Edwin (absent), Dan Betney (panna), Aaron (spectator and American), Vincent (German), Guido (not showing up with some lame excuse instead of admitting he was wasted yesterday and woke up in Tan Binh province with three Vietnamese lady boys, a carrot and a stick), Demis (huge chance assisted by The Raven, another shot high-over and half Italian) and Andy (shot high-over the goal and British), to name a few…

As the 1st half was coming to an end, it was Mike Owen who put Raiders ahead of FC (2x) with an amazing strike (10 points!). Mike played a superb game and ended up being MOTM. Congrats Mike!

FC (x2) was slowly transforming from fighting cocks into chickens, and from chickens into hens, as Raiders kept playing strong and started to dominate the game. Hoggy, Oggy, ggy fired a shot into the goal and Raiders were 2-0 ahead.

However, the Fighting Hens didn’t give up and Mirko had to make some great Italian saves, which he did. Mirko would deserve the runner-up MOTM award for his great performance!

At the time Hoggy, Oggy, ggy made the 3-0, The Raven knew his transformation into Turkey was complete.

All in all, a game with great team performance, numerous Turkey moments and an important win on the way to the title. Cheerio lads!
